Located in the exclusive Jumeirah Golf Estates, this kitchen was conceived as the centerpiece of a truly exceptional villa. The client envisioned a space where design would take center stage, with the kitchen as the focal point of the home.
Regarding the client’s vision, he was primarily inspired by one of the kitchens at Goettling showroom, which he felt would be a great match for the style of his villa. To ensure it aligned seamlessly with his space, the senior designer Alaa Kassab made a few adjustments to better fit the modern aesthetic of the villa, which also incorporates a warm, wooden touch.
Alaa and the client were able to finalize this kitchen project within about a week. By understanding the client’s vision clearly, she was able to quickly deliver a design that he loved, with minimal revisions.
The kitchen design aimed to seamlessly blend striking visual appeal with practicality, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while incorporating the latest in modern technology.
To achieve this, we sought to evoke a sense of warmth and comfort by incorporating natural materials by Next125 throughout the design. The rich, timeless finish of the Elegant White Oak Bianco veneer envelops the tall units, providing a soft, welcoming texture that contrasts beautifully with the sleek and sophisticated elements of the space. The island cabinets, finished in Bianco Beige ceramic, reflect a sense of understated luxury, grounding the room with their neutral tones while still commanding attention.
The heart of the kitchen is powered by state-of-the-art Gaggenau appliances, providing an unparalleled culinary experience. Whether cooking or entertaining, the client can rely on the advanced technology and sleek design that Gaggenau offers. The addition of a Quooker tap and the perfectly integrated Frank black sink complete the kitchen’s high-end, functional appeal.
The luxurious worktops are finished in Kone Gypsum Hammered by Atlas Plan, a sophisticated surface that not only draws the eye but is also highly durable and easy to maintain. This refined material complements the clean lines and contemporary aesthetics of the overall design. Every detail has been carefully chosen to create a harmonious blend of opulence and functionality.
To create a space that encourages both socializing and relaxation, we integrated a seating area that seamlessly continues from the worktop, providing a perfect spot for casual breakfasts or intimate gatherings. The sleek black legs on one side of the island create a sophisticated contrast, pairing beautifully with the black sink and adding a touch of contemporary edge.
A thoughtful detail was the inclusion of two dedicated niches—one for coffee and the other for drinks—ensuring that every moment in this space, whether it’s preparing a morning espresso or entertaining guests, is effortless and enjoyable.
